French natural brand UNE BEAUTY releases bb cream

Being based in Paris, Hope In A Blog hasn’t had much luck with BB Creams here. The French market has only 2 BB Creams : one from Erborian ( a korean-french cosmetic company ) and it’s sub-brand 7Herbs.  The latest is from Garnier, which was released a few weeks ago. BB Creams has been a hit with the French, so it’s no doubt that more companies will be releasing their version of the BB Cream!

Other French brands such as Vichy & Dior has released their BB Cream, but they have decided not to release it in their homeland yet ! However, UNE Natural Beauty , a natural French cosmetics brand, will be releasing it’s BB cream called the UNE Intuitive Touch BB Cream Foundation.

The special features of the BB Cream are :

  • 100% natural ingredients
  • Compact
  • Eco-Friendly ( It is rechargeable – therefore you don’t need to purchase a new product each time – only available in France at the moment )
  • Can be used with a brush (provided)
  • Attractive Price ( around 17 euros )
  • 7 different shades to choose from
  • Hydrates your skin for 8 hours
  • Matifies your skin
  • Nourishes your skin
  • Protects your skin

Here is the description of the BB Cream from Beauty And The Dirt :

The UNE Intuitive Touch ‘BB Cream’ Foundation claims to have 7 amazing qualities that; smooth, correct, moisturise, enhance, matify, nourish and protect the skin. It’s formula contains waxes(carnauba wax and beeswax) to smooth, good quality colour pigments to concealer and Maca Root (aka Andean Ginger) to stimulate and toning, increasing your skin luminousity.

The product comes with UNE’s signature mirrored packaging (which we love) and is completely natural. It also comes with a handy mini Kabuki brush which is great for using around the nose and eyes and for smaller imperfections.

We love the formula and it goes on really well. We’re not sure we’d use it all over but for smaller areas of imperfections, this product is perfect.

I’m still a little confused with the name. So it’s a BB Cream and a foundation ( hard to tell the difference anyway ) ? True, they’re hitting two birds with one stone – but how will this fare compared to the Asian BB Creams? We’re excited to see how it does and to see it’s popularity in our local market. Will update with more information ( description, SPF, ingredient list, etc ) when i have more details from UNE Beauty since I’ve contacted them!

In the mean time, take a look at the 7 shades ( finally a BB Cream for those of you with darker skin! ) , as well as a photo of the packaging and the recharge from Mademoiselle Futile  :
