Modern pedagogy as a science

Modern pedagogy as a science
The demand for pedagogy arose when people established the law between the development of civilization and the upbringing of individual generations. The first attempts to generalize the teaching experience were made in such powerful civilizations as China, India, Ancient Greece. Then education began to play a big role in the process of socialization of man.

The term "teacher" comes from the Greek words "peyda" – the child and "goges" – to lead. In the literal translation of the "teacher". Thus the term "pedagogy" can be interpreted as "pedigree".

For the first time pedagogy separated into a separate branch of science only in the 17th century. An important contribution to the department of pedagogy from the system of philosophical knowledge was introduced by the English philosopher Francis Bacon.

Pedagogy is the science of human education and education, it studies how best to transfer social experience from the younger generation to the elder.

The object of pedagogy is the process of reality, which affects the development of man, that is, education.

The basis of the pedagogical theory is the idea of ??the nature of man, his capacity for upbringing, development and education. It is these basic knowledge that helps in addressing the issue of the nature of upbringing and education.

The subject of pedagogy is education, as a pedagogical process taking place in specially created social institutions (family, school, university).

There are two levels of tasks in pedagogy: scientific and practical. They differ from each other in that the task of science is to investigate, the task of the school is to educate and educate students.

Tasks are also classified into:
• permanent – to predict training for the near and not very future. Without scientific forecasts, it is impossible to manage the educational system, educational policy and even develop pedagogical science.
• temporary – to introduce the results of research into practice. The entry of market relations into the sphere of spiritual development stimulates the development of the learning process and the search for new methods and approaches. Now you can not only invent a new teaching method, but also effectively apply it in practice, and even get universal appreciation.

It should be noted that the tasks facing pedagogy depend on the social and economic conditions of society. Requests for new knowledge and skills that are needed by society in the "hotline" mode come to pedagogy. And modern pedagogical science must respond and meet the demands of society.

Modern pedagogy as a science needs connections with other branches of science. For example, philosophy is important during the development of pedagogical theory. Psychology helps to solve questions about education and upbringing, to establish the regime of the day and work. Sociology suggests how best to logically organize the process of education.
