BB Enhancers : What are your options?

shiii

In Korea, the trend this year in this new product which compliments your BB Creams called the ‘BB Enhancers’ ( well, they’re called Luminous Cream but Hope In A Blog is renaming them as BB Enhancers ). Long gone are the days where the matte look is an ‘in’ thing. Who wants to be matte these days? It’s all about having that natural radiant glow.

So these BB Enhancers are mixed together with your normal BB Creams or foundations to give your skin that extra radiance kick as well as to add moisture to the skin. These enhancers gives your skin a very moist healthy radiant look which is how most korean celebrities are going for. These enhancers are actually very much like highlighters and can be used alone to highlight on the ‘highlighting’ areas ( nose, forehead, cheekbones ) for a more dramatic effect.

BB Enhancers : What are your options?

So what options are there out there for those of you that are looking for a BB enhancer ?

1. Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer

( 15,000 wons / 25g )

Probably the first BB enhancer in the market, the Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer was a huge hit. The adviced ratio is 1 : 3 ( 1 part enhancer 3 parts BB Cream ) to give you glowing skin. The  Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer which was upgraded recently now comes in three types :

The #3 is a new release. I wouldn’t bother with #1.. I have #2 and it’s not bad but a little too pinkish for my taste, so if i had to choose one, it would probably be the #3 which is transparent!

The BB Enhancer not only add a little glow to your BB Creams but also contains avocado oil and argan oil for skin hydration and nutrition. It also uses ultra low molecular Hyaluronic Acid ( Oligo Hyaluronic Acid ) which increases the skin hydration ).

This is my favourite BB enhancer ever! Sometimes you don’t even need a BB Cream to go with this. The prices have dropped tremendously on Gmarket so this is the right time to purchase this! The advised ratio is 3 ( enhancer )  : 1 ( BB ) and this makes your skin look like you came out from a fairy tale. Hahahahaha.. Read our review here
